- This standard stipulates the principles, procedures, methods and operating elements for commodity business organizations to establish a business quality system. This standard applies to all kinds of commodity wholesale, storage, retail, distribution enterprises or organizations, and also applies to other service enterprises or organizations dealing in commodities. Commodity business organizations of different types, scales, and natures can determine and adopt appropriate management methods and means, and choose to use relevant elements, according to the nature and types of commodities they operate, and on the basis of abiding by the concepts and principles of quality management.
