GB/T 16902.1-1997 Rules for the presentation of graphical symbols--Graphical symbols for use on equipment--Part 1: Creation of graphical symbols (English Version)
This standard specifies the basic rules for forming graphic symbols for equipment, including the design (including shape and size) and application of graphic symbols. Graphical symbols for equipment can be used to: - Indicate equipment or parts of equipment (such as: control or display); - Indicate functional status or function (such as on, off, on, off, alarm); : terminals, filling points); --Provide packaging information (such as: identification of contents, etc.); --Provide operating instructions for equipment (such as: use restrictions). This standard does not apply to: - Safety signs (GB2894); - Graphical symbols for drawing; - Graphical symbols for technical documents (GB/T16901.1); - Graphical symbols for public information signs (GB10001). Graphical symbols originally developed for these purposes (see GB4728, GB/T16901.1, GB10001 and GB/T16903.1), as long as they are drawn in accordance with the principles specified in this standard, can also be used for equipment.
