Scope: This standard stipulates that the electric submersible pump unit for oil wells (hereinafter referred to as electric submersible pump) includes submersible motor (referred to as motor), motor protector (referred to as protector), oil and gas separator (referred to as separator), submersible pump (referred to as Pumps), submersible cables (referred to as cables), control cabinets, transformers, technical requirements, assembly requirements and signs, packaging and storage. This standard is applicable to the design, manufacture and acceptance of electric submersible pump units used in onshore oil fields, and electric submersible pump units used in offshore oil fields can also be used as a reference.
