- This standard stipulates that the electric submersible pump unit for oil well includes submersible pump (referred to as pump), oil and gas separator (referred to as separator), motor protector (referred to as protector), submersible motor (referred to as motor), submersible cable (referred to as cable), transformer, control cabinet type, basic parameters and main connection dimensions. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of electric submersible pump units for pumping oil well fluids.
