- This standard specifies the evaluation of the vibration intensity of marine auxiliary equipment such as turbo generators, diesel generators, air compressors, pumps, ventilators, refrigerators and butterfly separators. This standard is applicable to the evaluation of the vibration intensity limits of auxiliary machinery in ship engine rooms under normal working conditions. This standard is not suitable for finding vibration sources, diagnosing faults, studying local vibrations, or other research purposes.
