Scope: This chapter specifies the technical requirements for the planning, design, construction, and management of small-scale storage and drainage projects on slopes such as intercepting ditches, drainage ditches, grit chambers, and reservoirs to prevent soil erosion on slopes. This article applies to the rainy areas in the south. The earth-rock mountainous and hilly areas with more rainfall and larger slope runoff in the north can also be used as a reference.
