1.1 This standard specifies universal modular fuses (UMF) for the protection of electrical installations, electronic equipment and components thereof commonly used indoors and connected to printed circuit boards or other substrate systems. It does not apply to fuse links in electrical installations used under special conditions (such as corrosive or explosive environments). Normally, this fuse link can only be installed or replaced by a suitable professional using special tools. Fuse links for use in fuse holders are under consideration. This part also adopts the requirements of GB 9364.1-1997. 1.2 The purpose of this section is to stipulate that in addition to the requirements of GB 9364.1 1997, there are also requirements for the level of non-interchangeability.
