This standard specifies the technical requirements and inspection requirements for tin-based alloy bearings used in rotating machinery, as well as the requirements for manufacturing, packaging, transportation and storage. This standard applies to hydrodynamically lubricated tin-based alloy bearings used in rotating machinery such as steam turbines, gas turbines, water turbines, generators, motors, compressors, fans, pumps, and rolling mills. Sliding bearings with similar operating conditions and service conditions can also refer to this standard.
