Scope

This chapter in GB/T 14536.1-2022 is applicable except for the following contents. Replacement: This document applies to power door locks for use with equipment including heating, air conditioning and similar applications. The device can use electricity, gas, oil, solid fuel, solar energy, thermal energy, etc., or a combination of energy sources. Note 1: In this document, the term "equipment" includes "apparatus" and "control system". This document also applies to electric door locks for equipment available to the public, such as equipment intended for use in shops, offices, hospitals, farms, commercial and industrial applications. Unless explicitly mentioned in the equipment standard, this document does not apply to electric door locks intended for industrial process applications. This document does not apply to electric door locks in the security field. Note 2: The standards covering these applications are the responsibility of SAC/TC100. 1.1 Replacement: This document applies to the inherent safety of door locks used in or related to equipment, to the operating values and operating procedures of door locks related to equipment protection, and to the testing of door locks. This document also applies to GB 4706. Note: The word "door" used in this document means "door, cover or cover". The word "door lock" means "electric door lock". This document also applies to a separate door lock as part of a control system, or a door lock that is mechanically integrated with a multi-function controller with a non-electrical output or using a motor.
