With the rapid development of lighting technology, the safety specifications of traditional light source control devices can no longer meet the technical requirements of modern products. The GB/T 19510 "Light Source Control Device" series of standards provides important guarantees for improving product quality and safety by updating technical requirements and safety specifications.
Version | Main content | Technical improvements |
---|---|---|
GB 19510.10-2009 | Special requirements for ballasts | - Added heating requirements for electromagnetic control devices; - Changed "ballast" to "electromagnetic control devices". |
GB/T 19510.209-2023 | Special requirements for electromagnetic control devices for discharge lamps | - Updated test methods; - Clarified classification and marking requirements; - Added high-voltage pulse test content. |
Rated temperature rise of an electromagnetic controlgear winding (Δt)
The temperature rise determined by the manufacturer under standard conditions is used to verify the safety performance of the electromagnetic controlgear.
The test requires that the temperature of the electromagnetic controlgear under normal working and abnormal conditions does not exceed the limit values in Table 2 and Table 3. Specific tests include:
GB/T 19510.209-2023 Controlgear for electric light sources—Part 2-9:Particular requirements for electromagnetic controlgear for discharge lamps (excluding fluorescent lamps) has been changed from GB 19510.10-2009 Lamp controlgear-Part 10:Particular requirements for ballasts for discharge lamps(excluding fluorescent lamps).
