With the rapid development of lighting technology, the safety and functionality of light source control devices need to keep pace with the times. The revision and update of the GB/T 19510 series of standards, as an important basis for regulating light source control devices, are of great significance to improving product quality and safety level.
| Standard dimensions | GB/T 19510.12-2005 | GB/T 19510.211-2023 |
|---|---|---|
| Scope | Miscellaneous electronic circuits for use with lamps | Miscellaneous circuits for lamps with AC/DC power supply are clarified |
| Main changes | Test methods and classification requirements are not clarified | Detailed test instructions and classification rules are added |
| Safety requirements | Basic safety requirements | Strengthened electrical strength and heat resistance test requirements |
Scope of application:This standard applies to miscellaneous electronic circuits for lamps that use 50Hz or 60Hz, 1000V or less AC power supply and/or 1000V or less DC power supply. Circuits or devices with existing special standards are not included.
Term definition:Miscellaneous electronic circuits used in conjunction with lamps refer to electronic circuits used to assist the function of light source control devices and provide auxiliary functions such as switches and/or circuit monitoring. For example: control circuits of electronic ballasts, switching circuits used by light sensors, etc.
When designing and producing miscellaneous electronic circuits for use with lamps, special attention should be paid to the following points: preventing accidental contact with live parts, the safety of wiring terminals, and grounding regulations. For example, in the ground leakage protection device for neon lamp transformers, insulation and electrical strength tests must be carried out in strict accordance with standard requirements.
The release of GB/T 19510.211-2023 marks the further improvement of my country's light source control device standard system. By strictly following the requirements of this standard, product safety risks can be effectively reduced and product quality and market competitiveness can be improved.
