Scope
Form: This Specification covers a titanium alloy in the form of bars@ wire@ flash welded rings@ and stock for flash welded rings. Application: Primarily for parts requiring high strength and toughness and good creep resistance up to 1000 oF (540 oC). Certain processing procedures and service conditions may cause these products to become subject to stress-corrosion cracking. ARP982 recommends practices to minimize such conditions.
