Scope

This document gives the chemical name, molecular formula and relative molecular weight of potassium iodate, specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, labels, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life of feed additive potassium iodate, and describes the feed additive potassium iodate. Sampling and test methods. This document applies to the feed additive potassium iodate produced by oxidation or electrolysis using iodine and potassium chlorate or potassium hydroxide as raw materials.
