GB/Z 6113.403-2020 Specification for radio disturbance and immunity measuring apparatus and methods—Part 4-3:Uncertainties,statistics and limit modelling—Statistical considerations in the determination of EMC compliance (English Version)
This part of GB/T 6113 describes the statistical considerations for determining electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) compliance of batch products. The reasons for this statistical consideration: a) The purpose of reducing interference is that most qualified products should not cause interference; b) The International Special Committee on Radio Interference (CISPR) limits must be suitable not only for type approval of individual products, but also for batches of products Type approval; c) Statistical techniques need to be applied to ensure that batch products comply with CISPR limits; d) Each country’s understanding of the meaning of these limits should be the same, which is very important for international trade; e) Participation in CISPR Each cooperating IEC national committee needs to work hard to seek recognition from the country where it is located. Therefore, this section specifies requirements and provides guidance based on statistical techniques. Batch product EMC compliance requires the application of statistical techniques that should ensure to consumers that 80% of products of the type studied meet emission or immunity requirements with 80% confidence. Chapter 4 gives the general requirements of the 80%/80% criterion. Chapter 5 gives more specific requirements for the application of the 80%/80% criterion to launch tests. Chapter 6 gives guidance on the application of the CISPR80%/80% criterion to immunity testing. The 80%/80% guideline protects consumers from receiving product that does not meet the limit requirements, but it does not represent the probability of acceptance of a sampled batch of product. But the acceptance probability is very important to manufacturers. Appendix A gives more information on probability of acceptance (manufacturer's risk).
