- This standard specifies a list of guidelines for inspection instruments used for inspection of earthmoving machinery on construction sites. This standard does not cover gauges for dismantling machines or for use in workshops. This standard applies to crawler and wheel tractors, crawler and wheel loaders and hydraulic excavators. Other earth-moving machinery such as graders, self-propelled scrapers and dump trucks can also be implemented by reference.
