- This standard specifies the method for continuous monitoring of the precision of the carbon black test method using ASTM standard reference carbon black (SRBs) and the use of statistical control charts to determine the SRBs test results and their validation in this laboratory. The method of whether there is a significant difference in the value, and indicate the reasons that may affect the precision of the test. This standard is applicable to the laboratory to confirm whether the precision and deviation of the carbon black test method meet the standard requirements, and is also suitable to find out and eliminate the reasons that affect the test precision, and make the test precision meet the standard requirements after correction.
