Scope: This document specifies the requirements for electric drive systems and components with a maximum operating voltage of Class B voltage, and describes the recommended requirements for potential environmental stresses, tests and chemical loads on or in vehicles at different stress levels. This document applies to electric drive systems and components whose maximum operating voltage is Class B voltage. This document does not apply to high-voltage battery packs (such as power battery packs) and systems or internal components.
