Scope

This document specifies the requirements for electric drive systems and components with a maximum operating voltage of class B voltage. This document describes potential environmental stresses, tests and recommended requirements for mechanical loading at different stress levels on or in the vehicle. This document applies to electric drive systems and components whose maximum operating voltage is Class B voltage; this document does not apply to high-voltage battery packs (such as power battery packs) and systems or internal components. It helps users of this document to establish test curves according to reproducible methods based on vibration measurement results, thereby eliminating errors. A.2 General provisions When the full magnitude of the test conditions cannot be achieved due to the fixture and/or DUT being too heavy, it can be compensated by adjusting the vibration load and test time.
