- This part of GB/T8897 specifies the battery size symbols of primary batteries, the composition description of the battery technical requirements classification table, external dimensions and electrical performance requirements, inspection methods, sampling and quality assurance, and marking. This standard applies to all primary cells whose electrochemical systems have been standardized. Note: See Appendix A for inspection rules.
