Scope: This document specifies a nomenclature system for ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) copolymer thermoplastic materials that may serve as the basis for classification. Different types of ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) copolymer thermoplastic materials are specified below with values for characteristic properties such as melt mass flow rate, as well as recommended uses and/or processing methods, important properties, additives, colorants, fillers and A classification system based on reinforcing materials, etc. This document applies to copolymers of ethylene and vinyl alcohol with an ethylene content (mole fraction) of 15% to 60%. This document applies to materials that are conventionally in the form of powder, granules or granules, unmodified or modified by colorants, additives, fillers, etc. This document does not imply that materials named identically will necessarily have the same properties. This document does not provide engineering data, performance data or processing condition data required to describe the material's specific uses and/or processing methods. If necessary, use the test methods specified in GB/T41877.2 to determine these additional information. In order to illustrate the special use of thermoplastic materials or to ensure reproducibility of processing, additional information can be given in character group 4 and character group 5 (see Chapter 4).
