GB/T 7000.222-2023 replaces GB 7000.2-2008, and specifies the special requirements for emergency lighting fixtures with a power supply voltage ≤1000V, including classifications such as continuous, non-continuous, and self-contained, and adds ESS power supply types (such as lithium batteries, EDLC capacitors) and brightness contrast measurement methods.
Terms | Definition |
---|---|
Self-contained emergency luminaire | Independent system including light source, control unit and ESS power supply, with maximum wiring length of 1m |
Rated emergency working time | The shortest time for continuous provision of rated luminous flux as declared by the manufacturer (e.g. 30min/60min) |
PELF/PELSF | Calculation parameters of minimum luminous flux of actual emergency light source, involving EOF factor of LED |
Main changes:
Durability test: 390h cycle test (10×36h positive/emergency mode + 30h charging), 50 power switch impact tests (Article 13.1)
Photometric test: According to CIE 121 SP1 and CIE S025, luminaires in high-hazard areas must reach 100% light output within 0.5s (Article 17.3)
1. The marking of Self-contained luminaires must include the ESS type, replacement cycle (4 years) and charging voltage range (Article 6.7)
2. Lithium battery systems must provide UN38.3 or IEC 62133-2 certification documents (Appendix A.7)
3. When installed on a rail system, an additional anti-misadjustment locking device must be added (Article 7.23)
