This document specifies the requirements for the use, design, manufacture and testing of electronic devices installed on rail transit rolling stock, as well as the basic requirements for hardware and software required for durability and reliability of the devices. If appropriate, additional requirements in other standards or specifications can be used as supplementary requirements of this document. The terms of this document that can be negotiated by both parties are set out in Appendix A. This document applies to all control, regulation, protection, diagnosis, power supply and other electronic devices installed on rail transit rolling stock. These devices can be powered by on-board batteries or generators, or by low-voltage power sources that are directly or indirectly connected to the catenary ( transformer, voltage divider, auxiliary power supply). In practical applications, the special requirements required to ensure the functional safety level are determined by 4.6.3.1, 4.6.3.2 and 4.6.3.2 in GB/T21562-2008
