Scope
This document specifies the classification and designation, order content, dimensions, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marks and quality certificates of structural steel for ships and ocean engineering. This document is applicable to the manufacture of steel plates with a thickness of no more than 150 mm for hull structures such as oceangoing, coastal and inland navigation ships, fishing boats, and marine engineering structures with a thickness of no more than 250 mm, and steel strips and shear plates with a thickness of no more than 25.4 mm. , Section steel with a thickness not greater than 50 mm or bar with a diameter not greater than 50 mm (hereinafter referred to as steel).
