Scope: This standard specifies the measurement methods of electrical, photometric and chromatic parameters of LED lamps, LED luminaires and LED modules powered by AC or DC and possibly equipped with LED control gear. The LED light engine is similar to the LED module and can be implemented by reference. The photometric and chromaticity parameters covered in this standard include total luminous flux, luminous efficacy, partial luminous flux, luminous intensity distribution, central beam intensity, luminance and luminance distribution, chromaticity coordinates, correlated color temperature (CCT), color rendering index (CRI) and spatial color non-uniformity. This standard does not apply to LED packages and products based on organic LEDs (OLEDs).
