Scope

This standard applies to most illuminants for general lighting (such as tungsten filament lamps, tubular fluorescent lamps and compact fluorescent lamps, and various other types of gas discharge lamps, excluding light sources that are mainly monochromatic light, such as low-pressure sodium lamps). This method can also be applied to corrected sunlight.
