This standard specifies the terms and definitions of waste mercury catalysts, main components, storage, treatment and disposal methods and environmental protection. This standard applies to the treatment and disposal of waste mercury catalyst produced in the production process of vinyl chloride by calcium carbide method. The treatment and disposal of mercury-containing activated carbon produced in this process can be implemented by reference.
