Scope

This document specifies the guidelines for lamp caps, lamp holders, and gauges for testing their safety and interchangeability, and establishes naming rules, fixing methods, interchangeability, and safety requirements. This document is applicable to the inspection of lamp caps and lamp holders using gauges whose functions are safety and interchangeability. According to the IEC guidelines, the new IEC standards are classified as safety standards or performance standards. In the safety standard of the light source, the "luminaire design parameters" are given for the safe work of the light source. When testing the luminaire according to this standard, it should be used as a normative appendix. It should be noted that in order for the light source to work properly, the 'luminaire design parameters' contained in the light source performance standard should be followed, but this standard does not require the performance test of the light source as part of the type test approval of the luminaire. 0.3 General requirements 0.3.3 Semi-luminaires shall be tested as luminaires. 0.5 Luminaire components 0.5.1 In addition to the overall components, the components should comply with the relevant national standards or IEC standards (if any). As a part of the luminaire, the overall component should conform to the national standard or IEC standard of the component as far as possible.
