- This document specifies the basic type, basic parameters, technical requirements, inspection rules, marking and packaging requirements of vertical squirrel-cage asynchronous motors (main pump motors for short) used in shielded main pumps of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. This document is applicable to shielded main pump motors for pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants.
