Safety of household and similar electrical appliances—Part 2：Particular requirements for robotic battery powered electrical lawnmowers (English Version)

Scope: Replacement: This document specifies the safety requirements and verification methods for the design, structure, and verification method of the battery-powered intelligent rotary lawn mower and its peripheral equipment. The rated voltage of the battery is not greater than 75Vd.c. Consider electromagnetic compatibility and environmental requirements. This document does not apply to the additional risks associated with internal combustion engine, hybrid and fuel cell powered machines and associated charging systems. This document specifies all significant hazards arising from the intended use and reasonably foreseeable misuse of the battery-powered intelligent lawn mower and its peripheral equipment. In this document, the term machine refers specifically to the smart lawn mower, excluding its charging station. This document also provides requirements for the safety of charging stations and boundary divider signal sources powered by mains power. Appendix KK specifies additional smart lawn mower battery operation and charging requirements, including charging of lithium-ion batteries, replacing Appendix B in IEC60335 1:2020.
