GB/T 32998-2016 Surface chemical analysis—Auger electron spectroscopy—Reporting of methods used for charge control and charge correction (English Version)
This standard specifies the minimum information required to describe the method of charge control in the Auger electron spectroscopy measurement of electronically excited insulating samples, and this information is also reported in the analysis results. See Appendix A for available methods for charge control before or during AES analysis. Table A.1 summarizes the various methods and approaches, arranged in order of simplicity of the method. Some of the methods in Table A.1 are available for most instruments, some require special hardware, and some may involve reloading or changing of the sample.
