- This standard specifies the determination of trifluoromethane (HFC-23), difluoromethane (HFC-32), pentafluoroethane (HFC-125), 1,1,1-trifluoroethane (HFC- 143a), dichlorodifluoromethane (CFC-12), chlorodifluoromethane (HCFC-22), 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (HFC-134a), 1,1-difluoroethane 10 kinds of halogens including alkane (HFC-152a), 1-chloro-1,2,2,2-tetrafluoroethane (HCFC-124) and 1-chloro-1,1-difluoroethane (HCFC-142b) Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry of Hydrocarbons. This standard applies to the volume fraction of HFC-23, HFC-32, HFC-125, HFC-143a, CFC-12, HCFC-22, HFC-134a, HFC-152a, HCFC-124 and HCFC-142b in gaseous refrigerants. Determination is not applicable to the determination of the purity of the above compounds. When the sampling volume is 20.0 μl, the detection limit of the 10 halogenated hydrocarbons is 0.08% to 0.09%; the lower limit of determination is 0.32% to 0.36%. See Appendix A for details.
