Scope

This document describes the method for measuring the theoretical driving distance of electric wheelchairs (including electric mobility scooters), that is, determining the energy consumption during driving and the rated battery capacity of the wheelchair battery. This method is applicable to electric wheelchairs with a maximum speed of 15km/h and a passenger mass specified in ISO7176. This document requires inspection reports and information releases.
