- This document specifies the test principle, test equipment, samples, test conditions and sample state adjustment, test procedures, test results and treatment and test report of the bending performance of sandwich structures. This document is applicable to the determination of the apparent bending strength and apparent flexural modulus of sandwich structures under bending, the bending stiffness and shear stiffness of sandwich structures, the stress and elastic modulus of panels of sandwich structures, and the shear stress and modulus of cores of sandwich structures. The shear modulus is also suitable for determining the strength of the flexural adhesive layer between the face plate and the core of a sandwich structure.
