Scope

This document specifies the general requirements of other parts of GB/T 18233. The cabling system specified in this document supports a wide range of applications, including voice, data, video, and power. This document stipulates: a) the basic structure and configuration requirements of the cabling system in the building types specified in other parts of GB/T18233; b) the channel transmission performance and environmental performance requirements; c) the link performance requirements; d) support GB/T18233 others Parts of the backbone cabling reference implementation; e) component performance requirements, available components and test method standards where appropriate; f) test procedures to verify that the cabling transmission performance is consistent with the requirements specified in GB/T 18233 (all parts). Note: This document does not include specific compliance requirements. Other cabling design documents supported by this document may use the requirements of this document as their respective compliance requirements. In addition, this document provides information about the applications supported by the cabling channel, and lists specific requirements for supported applications in Appendix A.
