GB/T 26642-2022 Non-destructive testing—Industrial computed radiography with storage phosphor imaging plates—General principles for testing of metallic materials using X-rays and gamma rays (English Version)
This document specifies the basic techniques of computed radiography in order to obtain satisfactory results economically and reproducibly. The technology is based on the basic theory of detection and experimental measurement. This document specifies general rules for industrial computer-based X- and gamma-ray inspection using stored phosphorescent imaging panels (IP). This document is based on the fundamentals of film-based radiographic inspection of metallic materials as defined in ISO 5579. The basic settings of radiation source, detector and their corresponding geometric positions comply with ISO5579 and related product standards, such as welding seam standard ISO17636 and casting standard EN12681. This document does not specify default acceptance terms. Computed radiography (CR) systems provide digital grayscale images that can only be viewed and evaluated on a computer. This document establishes recommended principles for the selection of detectors and radiographic inspection. Important elements such as computers, software, monitors, printers and viewing conditions are not the main content of this document. This document specifies the minimum requirements for computed radiography and digital images to obtain detection sensitivity equivalent to the deficiencies of film-based radiography detection as defined in ISO 5579. Certain application standards, such as EN16407, provide testing conditions that may require different or less stringent requirements.
