- This document describes methods for the determination of quality factors for the analysis of the fiber composition of paper, board and pulp, including the comparison method and the fiber coarseness method. This document applies to paper, board and pulp consisting of purebred fibres. Note: Pure fiber means that the content of other fibers with significant difference in quality factor in a single type of fiber does not exceed 5%.
