Scope

This standard specifies methods for the analysis of the fiber composition of paper, board and pulp. This standard applies to all pulps, and paper and paperboard other than highly impregnated or highly pigmented. Note: Highly impregnated or highly pigmented paper and paperboard may affect the fiber structure or dyeing reaction when dispersed or decolorized. 2 Terms and Definitions
