Scope

These requirements cover horizontal and vertical welded steel tanks intended for the outside storage aboveground of flammable and combustible liquids at pressures in the vapor space between atmospheric and 0.5 psig (3.4 kPa). They are intended for use with only noncorrosive@ stable liquids that have a specific gravity not exceeding that of water.
