GB/T 8243.12-2021 Methods of test for full-flow lubricating oil filters for internal combustion engines—Part 12: Filtration efficiency using particle counting and contaminant retention capacity (English Version)
This part of GB/T8243 stipulates that under the condition of continuous injection test impurities, the online particle counting method is used to conduct multiple pass filtration tests to evaluate the performance of full-flow oil filters for internal combustion engines. The scope of this section is limited to steady-state conditions, and flow without fluctuations. This section applies to the determination of filter dust holding capacity, particle removal characteristics and differential pressure. This section applies to filter elements with a filtration efficiency of less than 99% for particles with a particle size greater than 10 μm. Note: In order to cover the entire flow range of 2L/min~600L/min, it may be necessary to build several test flow circuits on one test bench, or several test benches.
