- This document stipulates the technical data, operating environment, metal structure, inspection content and methods for the inspection of electric hoists used as lifting mechanisms for lifting molten metal. This document is applicable to the following electric hoists used as lifting mechanisms for lifting molten metal. Inspection of cranes; LD, LX electric single-girder cranes and LH electric hoist bridge cranes for metallurgy with a lifting capacity of not more than 10 tons; gantry cranes for lifting molten metal with electric hoists as lifting mechanisms with a lifting capacity of not more than 10 tons; Wire rope electric hoists and chain electric hoists for lifting molten metal with a lifting capacity of no more than 10 tons.
