Test code for machine tools—Part 10: Determination of the measuring performance of probing systems of numerically controlled machine tools (English Version)

Scope: This part of GB/T 17421 specifies the test procedures for the measurement performance evaluation of the contact detection system (discrete point detection mode) assembled with the numerical control machine tool. This section does not contain other types of detection systems, such as those used in scanning mode or non-contact detection systems. Evaluation of machine tool performance for coordinate measuring machines is also not within the scope of this standard. These performances involve tracking capabilities and are significantly affected by the geometric accuracy of the machine tool. The detection system of machine tools specified in this part can also be tested according to GB/T16857.2 and GB/T16857.
