Scope: This document specifies the terms and definitions, ratings, design and construction, tests, etc. of direct current voltage transformers (DCVT), which can use any technology whose output signal can be analog or digital, and all supplementary technical requirements. This document applies to newly manufactured voltage transformers for measurement, protection and/or control in direct current power systems with a rated voltage greater than 1,5 kV. This document covers passive voltage dividers and active voltage transformers for measurement, control and protection. Note: Figure 601 of GB/T 20840.6-2017 describes the general configuration of single-pole low-power transformers.
