Scope

This document defines the terms and definitions of electromagnetic noise suppression sheets for digital devices and equipment with a frequency of 30 MHz to 30 GHz, and gives the impact of using noise suppression sheets on signals. This document also provides guidance on the performance description of noise suppression sheets in the manufacturer's technical data. Noise suppression sheets are different from RF absorbers used in free space. This document is limited to establishing terms and definitions, which constitute the reference content of Part 2 of GB/T 40675. Part 2 specifies measurement details for the parameters defined in Part 1. These two parts are closely related and should be used together. NOTE: This document also specifies the effect of using these suppressors on signal lines.
