- This standard specifies the definition, naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of digital patch panels. This standard is applicable to the inspection and acceptance of digital patch panels, and can be used as the technical basis for the design, production, use and assessment of product quality levels of digital patch panels. This standard does not apply to the quality sorting of digital distribution frames.
