Scope

This standard specifies the 2048kbit/s digital trunk interface parameters that a digital switch must meet when entering a telecommunications network, the transmission characteristic indicators between digital trunk interfaces that must be achieved within a switch, and the corresponding test methods. This standard applies to various A-law PCM digital switches.
