Scope

This part specifies the type, marking, materials, inspection rules, test methods, marking and packaging of load-bearing rope suspension string clamps. This section applies to copper load-bearing cables, aluminum-clad steel strand load-bearing cables, aluminum-clad steel core aluminum strand load-bearing cables, steel-core aluminum strand load-bearing cables, and galvanized steel strips in electrified railway contact network systems The load-bearing rope suspension string clamp is used for hanging the suspension strings with a diameter not larger than 5mm on the line load-bearing cable.
