Scope

This part specifies the type, marking, materials, inspection rules, test methods, marking and packaging of contact wire suspension clamps. This section applies to the contact wires used in electrified railway contact network systems where copper alloy contact wires with nominal cross-sections of 85mm2, 110mm2, 120mm2, 150mm2 or 110 and 85mm2 copper contact wires are suspended by hanging strings with a diameter of not more than 5mm.
