Scope

This standard specifies the terminology, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of motorcycle and moped engines. This standard applies to reciprocating piston gasoline engines for motorcycles and mopeds. This standard does not apply to racing engines.
