- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of black cross-linkable polyethylene insulation materials for overhead insulated cables 10kV and below. This standard applies to peroxide cross-linked polyethylene, silane cross-linked polyethylene and radiation cross-linked polyethylene insulation materials based on low-grade materials or mixed with polyethylene copolymers.
