Scope
This standard specifies the design requirements for the fuel system and its components of emergency diesel generator sets in nuclear power plants, including the system's functions, characteristics, testing and maintenance methods, etc. This standard applies to all mechanical equipment and its instrumentation and control function requirements from the fuel storage tank to the interface between the fuel system and the diesel engine (including the interface), but does not include equipment directly installed on the diesel engine body. This standard does not cover electric motors, motor control centers, switchgear, cables and other electrical equipment required for the operation of the fuel system, except for the electrical equipment required to define the interface.
